The Lab77 Association of Belluno and the Municipality of Alpago are organizing the Lago Photo Fest Alpago from July 2026 to June 2027. An open-air photography exhibition dedicated to the storytelling of the Dolomites, curated by Fabio Cavessago.
The project takes shape as a traveling photography gallery, developed along a route that starts in the Sbarai area, within the Natural Oasis of Lake Santa Croce, and continues to the characteristic village of Poiatte.
The aim of the initiative is to enhance and showcase to visitors the peculiarities of the Alpine territory, its cultural identity, and its extraordinary natural landscape, set within the unique scenery of the Dolomites.
The exhibited images are created by 25 artists and photographers, contributing to a collective and contemporary visual narrative.
Street photography is born from the unexpected encounter between gaze and reality: it is the art of observing life as it unfolds, without filters or staged scenes, capturing authentic fragments of everyday moments.
In this exhibition, spaces become natural stages, and people turn into unaware protagonists of fleeting stories: a gesture, a glance, an unexpected light that captures a moment in time.
Through these images, visitors are invited to slow down, observe more carefully, and rediscover the beauty of the ordinary, often hidden within the simplicity of everyday life.
