For the return of goats from summer mountain pastures, Cavalese hosts a major celebration, the Desmontegada de le Caore from September 11 to 13. A flock of over 350 goats will parade through the streets of the town center accompanied by the shepherds. The event features musicians and reenactments of traditional crafts, an artisan market with local specialties where you can purchase typical local products such as butter, ricotta, honey, goat cheese,...
In the restaurants you can taste zero-kilometer menus with the gastronomic event "I Magnifici Prodotti di Fiemme".

The little goats returning from summer mountain pastures, together with the breeders, greet Cavalese by parading through the streets with bells and their characteristic decorations. After the parade the party continues with the legendary fortaie of the Ass. Allevatori Caprini and your delicious shopping.
