On October 17, Rifugio Maria del Sass Pordoi hosts Top Wine 2950, Italy's highest gastronomic wine event: a day of wine tastings, gastronomic specialties and breathtaking views of the Dolomites.
Imagine sipping a glass of wine at almost 3,000 meters altitude, surrounded by the peaks of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is the evocative experience offered by Top Wine 2950, the event celebrating wine and local flavors in one of the most spectacular panoramic locations in Val di Fassa.
Friday, October 17, from 10:00 to 17:00, the Rifugio Maria del Sass Pordoi becomes the meeting point for food and wine enthusiasts, wine lovers and tourists looking for an original experience during their stay in Trentino.
On the famous panoramic terrace of the refuge, overlooking the Dolomites in a 360° view, it will be possible to taste a selection of white, red, rosé and sparkling wines presented directly by about 20 wineries from Trentino and South Tyrol, accompanied by a special guest from outside the region.
To make the tasting even more enjoyable, there will be finger food, appetizers and the Top Wine special dish, designed to enhance the wines and offer visitors a true journey through taste, territory and tradition.

Top Wine 2950 is not just a wine tasting: it is an opportunity to discover Val di Fassa from a privileged perspective, combining the food and wine excellence of Trentino with the unique setting of the Dolomites.
The Rifugio Maria del Sass Pordoi is easily reached in about 4 minutes by cable car from Passo Pordoi, located about 13 km from Canazei. The event is organized by the Società Incremento Turistico Canazei, in collaboration with the Italian Sommeliers Association Trentino and Cedea Mineral Water.
