Fly line Catinaccio Rosengarten

12 August 2021

In Vigo di Fassa, built in 2015, the Fly Line Catinaccio Rosengarten is an interesting 1,100-metre-long aerial trail in the middle of the forest. The Fly Line is suspended in the air and firmly anchored to the trees by means of steel ropes.

For the adrenaline-filled descent, you are attached to a trolley at controlled speed using a seat harness. The course is suitable for everyone as the harness is designed to hold between 20 and 120 kg. After the start there is a 6-minute descent suspended in the air above the forest.

The special feature of the Fly Line Rosengarten is that it has been built in a way that respects the mountain environment and vegetation and therefore without the use of civil engineering.

What does "environmentally friendly" mean? In the sense that the anchoring to the trees is done without damaging them and without hindering their normal growth thanks to special wooden protections without bolts or nails.

This adrenaline-filled course is the second one built in Italy and is the longest ever built.
