With the arrival of spring, the Asburgico Park of Levico Terme transforms into a true spectacle of colors and scents thanks to the blooming tulips. From April 10 to 12, 2026, from 10:00 to 18:00, the park’s greenhouse will host an event dedicated to this elegant plant: more than 100 tulip varieties and over 50,000 bulbs bloom in the meadows, creating a unique and enchanting panorama.
The days are enriched with stories, historical and botanical curiosities, cultivation tips, and workshops for adults and children, making the visit an educational and engaging experience. During the event, visitors can also admire the exhibition “Spazi cólti: gardens in the history of the West” set up at Villa Paradiso, within the park.
New for 2026: Orchids on display
A new permanent exhibition enriches the park’s greenhouse, offering a small contribution to the knowledge of a large group of plants: orchids, which include over 28,000 botanical species. The exhibition features rare orchids, such as the black Fredclarkeara After Dark, and more unusual varieties, like the spider orchid. Botanical curiosities and special plants are also on display, from the giant Schomburgkia superbiens to Bulbophyllum maximum with its knife-shaped inflorescence, as well as collections of Catasetinae, Vandeae, and Stanhopeinae, including very rare varieties such as Clowesia dodsoniana and the impressive Cycnoches peruvianum with its cascading inflorescence.
The orchids on display were donated by Francesca Dalvit, who wanted to preserve the unity of the collection of a great orchid enthusiast, Gioachino Franzelli, her partner who passed away prematurely.
An unmissable opportunity to experience spring surrounded by nature, culture, and extraordinary colors. Free entry.
