The new 'PIZ DA PERES' via ferrata is located in the immediate vicinity of hiking path no. 12 and offers two emergency exits. It can be easily reached from two different starting points: by car from San Vigilio di Marebbe or from Valdaora via Sorafurcia to the Furcia Pass, where you can park your car. From San Vigilio it is also possible to reach Passo Furcia by public transport, which leaves every hour.
The Via Ferrata Piz da Peres is divided into three sections:
- Section 1: Tor Blancia - medium difficulty
- Section 2: Trei Donz - difficult
- Section 3: Picio Piz da Peres - easy
While climbing the via ferrata, you can admire the Dolomites, the Zillertal Alps and the Vedrette di Ries.
To access the Via Ferrata Piz da Peres, it is obligatory to be equipped with a harness with carabiners and a helmet. Gloves and suitable footwear are also recommended.
