Ascent
The starting point is the car park at Zannes (1680 m), a classic access point for many tours in Val di Funes. Follow the forest road towards Kirchwiesl until reaching the Kaserill Alm (1920 m), where the landscape opens up and offers the first view of the Odle peaks.
From here, continue towards the Bühler Schupfe, crossing snowy woods and clearings. The route gradually becomes wider and more panoramic, with perfectly skiable sections. A wide right-hand turn leads to the final slope that reaches the summit of Col di Poma (2422 m). The ascent is considered of medium difficulty, without demanding technical passages, and is therefore suitable also for less experienced ski mountaineers.
Descent
The descent follows the same route as the ascent. From Col di Poma, ski down wide and regular slopes, ideal for smooth and enjoyable turns. Near the Bühler Schupfe and Kaserill Alm, the terrain becomes gentler and easier, perfect for a relaxed descent.
The final stretch to Zannes follows the forest road, comfortably leading back to the starting point. In fresh snow conditions, the descent is highly rewarding, with spectacular views of the Odle and the surrounding Dolomites.
