Ascent
The starting point is the car park at Zannes (1680 m). Follow forest road no. 33 leading towards Kirchwiesl. From there, continue to Gampenalm (2062 m), an ideal spot for a short break. From the alpine hut, the route follows trails no. 35 and 3A, crossing wide snow-covered meadows and tackling a steeper slope that leads up to Bronsoi (around 2300 m).
The final section requires attention and good technique, but the view of the Odle peaks makes the effort worthwhile.
Descent
The descent follows the same route as the ascent: from Bronsoi down to Gampenalm, where the initial slope is steeper and demands control and safe skiing. After passing the hut, the route becomes gentler and smoother, following forest road no. 33 back to Zannes.
The return is pleasant and panoramic, with wide spaces allowing fluid turns and a steady rhythm. In fresh snow conditions, the descent is highly rewarding, though it is always important to assess avalanche risk and snowpack stability.
