The hike from Falzes to Irenberg is a simple and enjoyable route, suitable for families and, in summer, even accessible with a stroller.
The starting point is the sports area of Falzes, from where you follow the road to Irenberg for a short stretch. Soon after, you turn right and take trail number 6B, which leads through a quiet forest to the Irenberg inn, an ideal place for a break.
The return can be made along the same path, but alternatively you can continue north to the edge of the forest, follow forest trail number 6 leading to the Issengo Lake, and finally, following the signs to Falzes, return to the sports area.
The excursion is also easily accessible by public transport: from the Mobility Center of Brunico, take bus line 421 or 422 to Falzes Town Hall, then walk about five to ten minutes to the starting point.
