The Laghestel Nature Reserve, one of the most fascinating biotopes on the Piné Plateau, offers an easy loop trail suitable for everyone, including families with children. The route starts in Località Ferrari, near Baselga di Piné, and follows a comfortable, mostly flat path—perfect for a relaxing walk immersed in nature.
The loop trail takes about two to two and a half hours, starting and ending at the main entrance of the reserve. Along the way, you can stop at 12 points of interest, each equipped with informational panels describing the history and features of the biotope: its glacial origins, erratic boulders, porphyry, wetland vegetation, natural dynamics, fauna, pine forest, hygrophilous woodland, and the ancient connecting roads.

How to reach the Laghestel Biotope
To reach the starting point of the trail, follow the provincial road from Baselga di Piné toward Montagnaga and continue to Località Ferrari, where the main entrance to the reserve is located.
