Tour to the farms of Luson

An easy and scenic hike through woods, meadows, and traditional farmsteads in the Luson valley — perfect for families and nature lovers.

The route starts just beyond Hotel Rosental, following the small road leading to the pond. After a few minutes, turn right onto the old mountain trail sv.15, which gently climbs to Pliederer Farm (1641 m). Continue towards the small valley and through the forest until reaching Hotel Tulper. The ascent remains gradual up to the junction, where you turn right to reach Heroler Farm (1640 m).

For the return, take trail sv.3, descending through the forest and crossing the road to Löchler Farm. After the hairpin bend, turn left along the ravine carved by the Gfasebach stream; once across, follow the stream until you reach Luson.

Panoramic Variant

From Heroler Farm, continue along the forest road climbing through the woods to the alpine area Tulper Gampis. Follow the carriage road, keeping the alpine biotope on your left, then turn right onto the Griebelsteig trail, leading to Plasellalm Alpine Hut. Continue to the junction for Bacheralm, then descend along the mountain slope, passing the abandoned Gargitt Farm. The descent ends at Hotel Luesnerhof, from where you can easily return to Luson.
