From 27 November to 31 December 2026, the charming Capuchin Garden in Lana is transformed into a festive Christmas setting filled with lights, scents and colours to host the traditional Star Dust Christmas Market (Polvere di Stelle).
A must-visit event for anyone wishing to experience the magic of Christmas in an intimate and authentic atmosphere, surrounded by South Tyrolean traditions, local craftsmanship and delicious culinary specialities. Located near Merano, the Christmas Market in Lana is perfect for families, couples and visitors looking for a genuine Christmas experience full of emotions.
A journey through crafts, flavours and Christmas traditions
During the Advent weekends, the Capuchin Garden in Lana becomes a small Christmas village where visitors can stroll among beautifully decorated stalls and discover unique products created by local artisans, farmers and creative artists.
The approximately 22 stalls of the Star Dust Christmas Market offer handmade items, Christmas decorations, original gift ideas and authentic South Tyrolean handicrafts: little treasures to admire, purchase and take home as a special memory of your holiday.
The atmosphere is enhanced by the food stands, where visitors can enjoy traditional South Tyrolean Christmas specialities, typical sweets and warm drinks, perfect for a relaxing walk among the festive lights.

The Star Dust Christmas Market in Lana offers a varied programme of activities dedicated to children and families.

How to get to the Christmas Market in Lana
By car
Take the A22 Brenner motorway, exit at Bolzano Sud and continue towards Merano on the Merano-Bolzano expressway. Leave the expressway at Lana or Merano Sud to reach the town centre and the Christmas Market.
By train
All IC and EC trains stop at Bolzano. From Bolzano, regular connections to Lana are available approximately every 30 minutes.
By plane

Visitors arriving by car can use several paid parking areas near the Christmas Market:
- Lana Health District parking area
- Hoffmann parking area
- P4 Gampen/Palade parking area
- P1 Länd parking area (also suitable for camper vans)
Groups travelling by coach (50 seats) can park in suitable areas:
- Lorenzer Street
- Zollstraße near the Pomus warehouse
- Lana industrial area
Coach drivers can drop off passengers at Mode Egger, opposite the Christmas Market entrance, and then continue to the designated parking areas.
