The Naturnser Hochwart (2,607 m) is one of the most panoramic peaks in the Val Venosta and South Tyrol, perfect for hikers seeking a demanding yet rewarding trek. The ascent can start from the valley floor or, more conveniently, from Rablà by cable car to Rio Lagundo (1,340 m). From there, follow trail no. 27 (approx. 1.5 hours) to the Naturno Alpine Hut (1,922 m), where the alpine scenery opens up beautifully.
The route continues along trail no. 9 (approx. 2.5 hours) to the summit of Naturnser Hochwart, offering breathtaking views of the Texel Group, Monte Sole, and even the Dolomites in the distance.
Another option starts from the Kreuzbrünnl parking lot (Monte Tramontana, 1,580 m), passing by the Naturno Hut, Zetnalm, Frantschalm, or Tablà Hut, all traditional alpine stops that enrich the hiking experience.
