The hike begins in the center of Naturno. After about 15 minutes on foot you reach the valley station of the Unterstell cable car in the hamlet of Compaccio. Right next to the lift there is a free parking area and a bus stop. The cable car takes you up to the mountain station at 1,300 meters, where the Unterstell inn is located. From here, follow trail no. 10, which climbs gently to the Patleid farmstead.
From Patleid, continue along trail 24a towards Val Senales until you reach the junction with the Merano High Mountain Trail no. 24, roughly halfway between the Innerunterstell and Lint farmsteads. Following the Merano High Trail eastwards, you first arrive at the Lint inn and then at the fork for trail 24b, located in front of the Innerforch farmstead. This trail closes the loop, leading back to the mountain station of the Unterstell cable car, which brings you comfortably down to Naturno.
