The walk along the Fleres stream is a simple and pleasant itinerary, ideal for families and for those seeking a relaxing excursion immersed in nature. Thanks to its shaded position, the route is particularly appreciated during the summer months and is also suitable for strollers.
The trail begins at the sports field of Colle Isarco and leads to the Maria-Hilf Chapel in Fleres di Fuori, following the course of the river. Along the way, there are several play stations from the themed path “In the footsteps of water” and a Kneipp area, perfect for refreshing and regenerating. The itinerary can easily be walked both ways, making it suitable for hikers of all ages.
An interesting alternative is to cross the bridge over the Fleres river and continue to the right along the walk. At the beginning of the path, a trail branches off to the left and leads to Redwitz Square, the iron spring, and the evocative barefoot trail. From here, several options open up: follow the Gottschalk trail, climb to the Vallming alpine hut, or simply return to the original walk. Each option offers different views and enriches the experience with new scenic perspectives.

For those traveling by public transport, the area is served by bus line 313, which connects Brenner, Fleres, Colle Isarco, and Vipiteno. Those arriving by car can easily reach the sports field of Colle Isarco, where convenient parking is available to start the excursion.
