The route begins at the upper station of the Oberholz cable car, where the trail no. 23 leads to the panoramic Mayrl Alm. The walk continues along trail no. 9, crossing meadows and woodland until reaching Laner Alm, a perfect spot for a relaxing break surrounded by the alpine landscape. From here, the descent towards Obereggen follows trails no. 10 and 11, winding gently through larch and spruce forests. The itinerary can also be done in the opposite direction, starting directly from Obereggen.
