Along the route you encounter mills, ancient water‑powered sawmills and traces of the rural economy that shaped the territory for centuries. The stream accompanies every step, offering evocative views and a fresh, lush environment—ideal for those who want to combine a relaxing walk with the discovery of local history.

From Carbonare to Cueli

The itinerary starts in Carbonare and follows a well‑marked path that runs alongside the Astico stream. The route is easy and suitable even for children aged 6 and up, with a comfortable surface and many points of interest that make the walk enjoyable and educational.

Along the way you can see the remains of old mills, small hydraulic structures and information panels explaining how water was a vital resource for fishing, woodworking and the daily life of mountain communities.

The walk ends in Cueli, after about 2.2 km and 45 minutes of peaceful walking.
