“Hinzl” Trail in Tablá

The “Hinzl” circular trail is a fascinating route that invites you to discover the history and traditions of Tablá. Along its 15 themed stations, the path leads visitors from the village center into the surrounding woods, crossing open clearings, flowering meadows, birch and pine forests, pastures, and rocky outcrops. Each station tells short stories, legends, and curiosities about rural life and local craftsmanship, turning the walk into a true cultural journey. Along the way, you will find romantic and peaceful spots, perfect for a regenerating break, as well as scenic viewpoints offering wide panoramas over Tablá and Naturno.

The starting point is the village square, next to the church and the elementary school. From there, the route follows a short stretch of road, passing the bus stop, before turning left onto the paved road marked with number 4, heading towards the Schleidertal. After passing the Ritz’n Mühle and the shooting range, trail no. 4 climbs moderately through the forest westward until station no. 9, located in the birch forest.

From here, the path turns east towards the Hasler Weide, then descends following the signs for the “Hinzlweg”. It passes the Ragoier and Oberwötzel farms, before returning to the main road in Tablá. The final section leads westward, closing the loop and bringing you back to the starting point in the village center.
