An itinerary starting from Ranui, in the heart of the Val di Funes, leading through snowy forests and spectacular views to the alpine huts Glatsch and Dusler, with privileged views of the Odle peaks. It is a demanding but very impressive route, ideal for trained hikers seeking an authentic experience in the winter Dolomite landscape.
Directions
- Departure from Ranui: follow trail no. 33 to Zannes (1680 m), gateway to the Puez-Odle Nature Park.
- Towards Malga Glatsch: continue on trail no. 36, which climbs gently through the forest to Malga Glatsch (closed in winter).
- Malga Dusler: continue on trail 36B to Malga Dusler (also closed in winter), located in a panoramic position at the foot of the Odle.
- Return: continue a little further on 36B until a junction, then follow trails 34/34B back to Ranui.

- Ranui: famous for the Church of San Giovanni, one of the most photographed symbols of the Val di Funes.
- Zannes: gateway to the Puez-Odle Nature Park, with a large parking area and well-marked trails.
- Malga Glatsch and Malga Dusler: typical South Tyrolean alpine huts, popular in summer for traditional cuisine; closed in winter but offering wonderful views.
