The route starts in Casateia, crosses the main road, and follows the Mühlbachlweg trail towards Stanghe. The first section is a narrow, well-marked path through the forest, with benches inviting you to rest.
Continuing, the trail widens and the landscape becomes more varied: river biotopes, untouched forests, deciduous woods, and alpine meadows. In Stanghe, a bridge is crossed and the paved cycle path leads to Mareta. Those who wish can continue to the square in front of the church, the starting point of the Bosco & Acqua nature trail, dedicated to the themes of forest and water.
The tour also includes a visit to Wolfsthurn Castle, home to the South Tyrol Museum of Hunting and Fishing, and the Rock Garden. The return follows the same route.
