The Pennes-Laste Loop winds through meadows and forests of the Val di Pennes, connecting the villages of Pennes and Laste. It is a medium-difficulty trail, characterized by a varied profile with ascents and descents, making it ideal both for sports cross-country skiers and for competitive training.
Itinerary
- Start: possible from either Pennes or Laste.
- Route: the track develops in a loop with continuous ascents and descents, crossing snowy clearings and spruce forests.
- Total length: up to 18.7 km if all variants are covered.
- Altitude: between 1,143 m and 1,513 m a.s.l., with a difference in height of about 70 m.
- Average duration: about 4 hours for the complete loop.
Difficulty
Easy: short loop of 1.5 km in Laste.
Medium: variants from 5–10 km.
Competitive training: complete 18.7 km loop, ideal for experienced skiers.
