On 13 September, Forni di Sopra hosts the Mushroom Festival, organised by the Pro Loco in collaboration with the local business network and the municipality. The event features guided mushroom-foraging excursions with expert mycologists and nature walks to discover the flavours and treasures of the forest.
Visitors can also buy fresh mushrooms at the many mushroom markets, while local restaurants and hotels serve delicious traditional dishes prepared with mushrooms, showcasing the authentic cuisine of Forni di Sopra.
