During the summer season in South Tyrol, the longest rail toboggan run in the region opens to the public. This fun rail sled, known as the Funbob, is located on the Baranci/Haunold in San Candido/Innichen, in the Three Peaks/3 Zinnen area of the Upper Puster Valley.
Starting from 2025/2026, the Funbob at Baranci uses a new generation of sleds (Mountain Coaster 2.0), offering greater comfort and improved performance.
To reach the attraction, simply head to the lift facilities in the village of San Candido/Innichen.
The Funbob is an activity suitable for both adults and children. Children must bring an identity document in order to use the Funbob.

Funbob rules in South Tyrol
- Children up to 7 years old must be accompanied by an adult (18+) in the same sled.
- Children aged 8 and above must ride the Funbob alone.
- Keep a minimum safety distance of 50 m from the sled in front.
- Dogs are not allowed on the Funbob.
- Colliding with other sleds is strictly forbidden.
- Stopping along the track is not permitted.
- Use of the Funbob is at your own risk.
- Riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited; appropriate clothing is recommended.
- Reckless or negligent behaviour may cause harm to yourself or others.
- All signs at the start, along the route, and at the finish must be respected.
-Follow the instructions of the staff, fasten your seatbelt, and sit correctly.
- Maximum allowed weight per passenger: 110 kg.
- Seatbelts must be worn throughout the entire ride.
- Unfastening the seatbelt during the ride is prohibited.
- Riders must respect the traffic light at the start and depart only when the light is green.
- Any damage caused to others is the responsibility of the person who caused the collision.
- Speed must be adjusted to avoid danger to people or property; riding too slowly is not allowed.
- Filming during the descent is prohibited.
- Parents or guardians are responsible for minors riding alone or as passengers.
- In case of heavy rain during the descent, the sled must be stopped and exited; crossing the rail is strictly forbidden.
- Upon arrival, speed must be reduced to walking pace.
- Climbing over the rail is strictly prohibited.
- Failure to comply with these rules authorizes staff to deny access to the Funbob.
- Staff are available for any information or assistance.
In case of rain, the Funbob remains closed.
