Plan de Corones and the giant seesaw

On the summit of Plan de Corones in the Puster Valley, among the mountains of South Tyrol, one of the most spectacular summer experiences awaits: the Skyscraper, a giant swing suspended at 2,275 meters above sea level.

Easily accessible by cable cars from Riscone, Passo Furcia, or Valdaora, this attraction is located right at the top of Kronplatz / Plan de Corones, in an open alpine panorama overlooking the Dolomites and the Zillertal Alps.

The Skyscraper is a structure about 15 meters high: a solid wooden swing system equipped with steel cables and safety harnesses. After being secured and lifted by a winch to the highest point, the highlight begins: once released, you start swinging in the open air with the sensation of truly “flying” above the mountains of the Puster Valley.

This experience is designed for thrill seekers, but also for those who want a unique viewpoint over the South Tyrolean Alps, with a 360° panoramic view of the surrounding peaks.

In summer, Plan de Corones is also ideal for hiking, climbing, and paragliding, while in winter it becomes one of South Tyrol’s main ski areas.
