The 3 Cime Dolomiti / 3 Zinnen Dolomiten ski area, part of the Dolomiti Superski circuit, has been awarded the 2025 Oscar for the best ski resort in Italy. With 115 km of slopes suitable for both beginners and expert skiers, it offers breathtaking views of the iconic Three Peaks of Lavaredo, one of the most beloved symbols of the Dolomites.
Among the must-ski runs is the Holzriese on the Croda Rossa in Sesto: the steepest slope in Italy, boasting an impressive 71% gradient. Also not to be missed is the famous Giro delle Cime, a 35 km skitour linking five mountains in one itinerary: Monte Elmo, Stiergarten, Croda Rossa, Monte Croce and the Val Comelico ski area, all accessible with a single day skipass.
The 2025/26 season will also bring exciting updates. In Braies, the Kameriot ski lift has been replaced by a new 742-metre lift; in Sesto, the new 200-metre Waldheim magic carpet has been installed; and at Passo Monte Croce, a modern ski lift now replaces the old structures, improving comfort and connections for skiers.
The official opening of the lifts is scheduled for 29 November 2025.
