From 12 April to 31 May, Scena, just a short walk from Merano, becomes a vibrant stage celebrating spring with the event series “Scena in Bloom”. A festival that marks the awakening of nature through food and wine experiences, music, culture and outdoor activities, set in one of South Tyrol’s most charming villages.
Throughout this period, the village comes alive with a rich calendar of events that blend tradition and innovation, offering unique opportunities to enjoy spring among vineyards, castles and Alpine landscapes.
Among the highlights are the Flavours of Spring, taking place from 12 to 26 April 2026, a journey through seasonal cuisine and local products. On 25 April 2026, the Culinary Matinée in the courtyard of Castel Goyen offers a refined gastronomic experience in a historic setting.
On 2 May 2026, CAUSE I’M G&T, the 4th South Tyrolean Gin Festival at Castel Schenna, invites visitors to discover artisanal spirits in an exclusive atmosphere. From 3 to 17 May, Wine & Sounds in Spring combines tastings, music and special encounters, creating a relaxed and convivial ambiance.
Spring in Scena also means movement and nature. With Taste & E-bike in Scena, from 17 to 31 May 2026, visitors can explore the area on two wheels, discovering local flavours and blooming landscapes. The programme concludes with the Long Aperitivo at Castel Schenna on 23 May 2026, the perfect occasion to enjoy sunset views in a unique setting.
