Chalet Oberguggenberg

Located at an altitude of 1,000 metres, in the village of Montal at the entrance to the Val Badia, this newly built, comfortable chalet of solid wood is ideal for 2-4 persons and is idyllically situated just ten minutes by car from the city of Bruneck,. Enjoy a stay in this quiet spot in the midst of nature with its magnificent views of the Puster Valley and the surrounding peaks. The Chalet is outfitted in solid pinewood: it has long been known that pine has a positive influence on our well-being. Ancient knowledge holds that the scent of pine is especially calming and soothing in its effects and will help us to get a good night’s sleep. With exercising in the great outdoors also a vital part of a relaxing holiday, there are hiking trails and walks that start practically from the doorstep. The Kronplatz, South Tyrol’s No. 1 ski mountain, is just 12 minutes away by car, while there is a free ski bus to the valley station (1 km away). After a day spent skiing you can enjoy the adventure pool or the sauna at the valley station, where convivial après-ski opportunities also wait. There are shops on the way back to the Chalet, while it takes just a few minutes to drive into the lovely town of Bruneck. In summer there are plenty of hiking and climbing possibilities in the Dolomites, as well as mountain-bike tours and excursions into the wild, romantic offshoots of the main Puster Valley.
