The MTB Uphill to Malga Tablanderalm is a challenging and scenic route starting from the Adige bridge in Ciardes, near the Hotel Winkler. The climb begins on paved road (8.3 km), passing several traditional farms and reaching Monte Fontana. From there, the route continues to the Schartegg parking area (1,460 m), a key junction for bikers and hikers.
The final stretch to Malga Tablanderalm requires extra effort: the gradient increases and the surface becomes gravel, testing both endurance and technique. Along the way, riders can choose exciting trail alternatives:
Fontana Trail: at km 6.7 after 570 m of elevation gain.
Lupo Trail: at km 4.3 after 360 m of elevation gain.
These options make the Uphill particularly flexible and ideal for experienced bikers seeking adrenaline and alpine views.
