Description of the itinerary

The Intaiada - Bivacco Feltre (5 hours).
From Passo Cereda follow the road eastwards for about 1 km: at the Taproom Padreterno (always open) turn right and reach the village of Mattiuzzi, m 1201, in about 3 km.
The path n. 801 begins near the fountain: on the right after the houses you enter a wood, then, always following the very good sings, you exit till the edge of some gravels. After a little saddle on the left you cross a ledge (fixed rope) at the beginning of the canyon of the Intaiada. The old smuggler path goes on till the Passo del Comedòn, m 2067.
A very beautiful sight on the Pale and on the Dolomites of Agordo! South-westwards you reach the green Pian della Regina, crossing a steep gravel canyon. Here stands the two comfortable huts of the Bivacco Feltre-Bodo, m 1930.

Bivacco Feltre - Tròi del Caserìn - Rifugio Boz (2,45 hours)
From the hut go down to a crossroad: follow always the sign n. 801 that leads towards the steep 'Parete Piatta' (Flat Wall) of the Sass de Mur. Over Pian del Re, go up to the grassy saddle called Col del Bechi, m 1960, from where you can enjoy a wonderful view on the underlying Lake of the Val Canzòi ("Lago della Stua").
Here the path (= tròi) of Caserìn begins: the itinerary is well traced and relatively safe, but has some exposed impressive points. It crosses the southern slope of the Sass de Mur towards the grassy saddle of Pass de Mura, m 1867.
The beautiful Rifugio Boz, that is to be reached in a short time, stands at m 1718, in Arcadian position.

Rifugio Boz - Le Vette - Rifugio Dal Piaz (ore 7).
From the Rifugio Boz go southwards and reach in a short time Passo Finestra, m 1766 . Some meters below you find a crossroad: turn right on grassy slopes that are part of the Monte Zoccarè Alto. At a little pass you enter the 'Natural Reserve of Piazza del Diavolo', belonging to the Natural Park "Dolomiti Bellunesi". Always on the ridge you climb towards the Sasso di Scarnia or Scarniòn;then you turn left towards a descending ledge that crosses the wall of the Scarniòn: be careful. Eventually take again the old military mule track that leads to a little saddle south-west of Monte Ramezza, at about 2040 meters. Follow the northern right side of Piazza del Diàol and the green Busa di Piètena to come back to the mule track that leads to the Passo di Piètena, m 2094. With broad serpentines go down towards the open Busa delle Vette, a lonesome pasture valley, spectacular in autumn. Continue along the mule track and go up to the Passo delle Vette Grandi, m 1994, and to the underlying Rifugio Dal Piàz (tel. 0439 9065). From here, a great sight on the Piave Valley, Monte Grappa and Asiago Plateau!
