The Paralympics Milan-Cortina 2026 concluded yesterday with the closing ceremony at the Cortina Curling Olympic Stadium. The Games officially came to an end, with the phrase “Ciao ciao Cortina” lighting up the stadium during the ceremony. The opening of the event was entrusted to Arisa, who performed the Italian national anthem while the Police, in historic uniforms, raised the Tricolor.
The Italian team made history by surpassing the previous record of 13 medals set at Lillehammer 1994, bringing home a total of 16 medals: 7 gold, 7 silver, and 2 bronze across three main disciplines – Alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, and snowboard.
