A mountain of activities for your holiday in San Vigilio
In summer, San Vigilio di Marebbe offers a mountain of opportunities for all tastes: from pleasurable walks in the middle of the forest to mountain hikes, mountain biking and climbing tours to ziplines and adventure parks. Within the Fanes - Sennes - Braies nature park of over 25,000 hectares there are countless hiking trails and MTB and e-bike tracks.
If you are looking for an easy walk suitable for the whole family, we recommend the 'Tru dles liondes', the legend trail along which you can retrace the saga of the Fanes kingdom. Those, on the other hand, who are looking for something more challenging, can embark on a five-hour tour to Piz da Peres (2,507 m) or the 25-km-long hike to Cima Dieci (3,026 m) with a difference in altitude of almost 1,800 metres for a total of 10 hours. Those, on the other hand, who want to reach the summit of Plan de Corones in comfort, can simply take the cable car. Here, the Messner-Mountain-Museum (MMM Corones) and the Lumen are worth a visit. If you are an adrenaline junkie, the zipline with ten stages in San Vigilio is just the thing for you.
In winter, there is space for skiing on Plan de Corones, South Tyrol's No. 1 ski area, snowshoeing, ski mountaineering, cross-country skiing and sledging. The Plan de Corones is able to satisfy the desires of any skier or snowboarder, offering slopes of all difficulties: from the simplest ones for beginners to the 'Black Five', the five black slopes for the more expert. From San Vigilio di Marebbe, skiers can also access the Skitour Sellaronda via the 'Piculin' cable car.
Liondes Chalets
Located directly on the ski slopes and hiking trails of Plan de Corones, the Chalets Liondes offer refined, modern surroundings, where a holiday is a true dream, a truly magical experience, with a private spa, many services and comforts included, and breathtaking views. The chalets can be rented as a whole, individual rooms cannot be rented.
They are the ideal destination for active and relaxing holidays on Plan de Corones and in San Vigilio di Marebbe with its shops, restaurants and après-ski. In summer, the area invites for pleasant walks in the forest, hikes in the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park, climbing and cycling tours. In winter, you can ski in the No. 1 ski area in South Tyrol, which is part of the Dolomiti Superski circuit, snowshoe or enjoy tobogganing. In every season you can find what suits you, whether you are alone, as a couple or with the whole family.
The design chalets furnished in wood offer comfortable rooms, a cosy open-plan living room and a well-equipped kitchen. Each chalet has its own private spa with sauna, sunbathing lawn and whirlpool.
If you would like a relaxing massage or a facial or body treatment, you can make an appointment with the beautician who will welcome you in the new beauty area, or directly to you in the chalet.
Included in the price: exclusive use of the chalet and spa, bed linen and towels, Wi-Fi, garden and parking space in the garage for two cars.
