Scuola Sci Nevegal

The Scuola Italiana Sci Nevegal ski school lies on the Nevegal ski area, only 10 km from the Belluno exit of the A27 Mestre-Belluno motorway. The ski area stretches at an altitude that is perfect for children, between 1000 and 1700 meters, has 40 km sunny ski runs that will satisfy skiers of every level and a snowmaking system. Moreover, from the northern side of the mountain you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Valbelluna valley and the Prealps, while on the southern side you can see the Po Valley.

The ski school is thirty years old and still growing, with a staff of 30 qualified instructors, among which some very professional and competent women stand out. Besides being well prepared in the teaching of classic disciplines, many instructors are specialized in snowboarding, ski mountaineering, telemark skiing, freeride and newschool skiing, a new freestyle discipline inspired to snowboarding involving advanced tricks and to be practiced mainly in snowboard parks.

The school offers courses of every level to meet the needs of both beginners and experts who want to hone their technique: private lessons and group lessons, advanced courses, pro ski training including use of videos, nighttime lessons on the floodlit Coca ski run and ski lessons in French, German and English. During the years the school specialized in teaching to children and now organizes many courses for kids of kindergarten-age and older. During the lessons children learn motor education, with and without equipment, and environmental education.
Every year the traditional torchlight descent and end of the courses competitions take place.
