Val di Sole
Skiing in Val di Sole: Ponte di Legno - Passo Tonale, Pejo 3000, Folgarida Marilleva
The Val di Sole is one of the most popular ski destinations in Trentino and offers three major ski areas: Pejo 3000, Pontedilegno-Tonale and Folgarida-Marilleva, the latter connected ski-in/ski-out with Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo. The ski areas are located among the Dolomites of Brenta, the Ortles-Cevedale group and Adamello-Presanella, in an ideal setting for a snow holiday.
Thanks to the variety of slopes, ski lifts and different altitudes, Val di Sole is suitable for beginner skiers, families, snowboarders and experienced skiers.
Pontedilegno-Tonale: 100 km of slopes between Trentino and Lombardy
The Pontedilegno-Tonale ski area extends between the Upper Val di Sole and the Upper Valle Camonica, on the border between Trentino and Lombardy. The ski resort includes Passo Tonale, Presena Glacier, Ponte di Legno and Temù, with slopes reaching up to about 3,000 meters in altitude.
100 km of slopes are available for different difficulty levels, from beginner slopes to more challenging routes. Among the most famous descents are the Paradiso, a black run of about 3 km, and the long descent Presena-Tonale-Ponte di Legno, with significant elevation.
The Presena Glacier and the altitude of the ski resort also contribute to a particularly long ski season. On some evenings of the week it is also possible to ski at night.
Pejo 3000: family skiing in the Stelvio National Park
The Pejo 3000 ski area is located in the heart of the Stelvio National Park and is a particularly good choice for those seeking a quiet snow holiday suitable for families.
The ski resort offers slopes of varying difficulty and spectacular views of the Ortles-Cevedale group. Among the most famous descents is the Val della Mite, a long route that descends from high altitudes towards the valley.
Pejo is also one of the historic resorts of Val di Sole and can be easily reached from the main centers of the valley.
Folgarida-Marilleva and Madonna di Campiglio: skiing at the base in the Dolomites of Brenta
The Folgarida-Marilleva ski area is directly connected with Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo, creating one of the most important ski resorts in Trentino.
The connection allows you to ski on the Dolomites of Brenta without using your car and to access a wide variety of slopes, suitable for both beginners and more experienced skiers.
It is a particularly interesting solution for those who want to combine skiing, Dolomite scenery, tourist services and après-ski during a winter holiday in Val di Sole.
