A hike that combines nature, culture and breathtaking views. Not to be missed is the charming church of Monte Santa Caterina, perched on a rocky outcrop and visible from afar. Just above Unterstell, a panoramic viewpoint offers spectacular vistas over the Val Venosta and the Texel Group. For those seeking adventure, a beginner-friendly via ferrata has been opened below the viewpoint, ideal for families and newcomers.
Route description: From the village center, follow trail no. 10a, climbing through meadows and larch forests until you reach the Merano High Mountain Trail. Continue along trail no. 24 towards the valley and Naturno.
