Bike Highline Meran/o

The Bike Highline Meran/o is a spectacular MTB route that connects the alpine huts of Monte Tramontana, allowing riders to cross the entire mountain ridge at altitudes between 1,450 and 1,900 meters. The trail stretches both westward and eastward, offering breathtaking views over Val Venosta and the Merano area.

Access to the Bike Highline Meran/o is possible via several dedicated uphills, the Riolagundo cable car, or the shuttle service. Once in altitude, bikers can choose among numerous downhill trails leading back to the valley, or forest roads descending directly to the valley floor.

The section between Tablanderalm hut and Mausloch hut is technically demanding, while the other connections are generally smooth and manageable.

Arrival description: from Naturno, riders can take the shuttle to the Schartegg car park or the Kreuzbrünnl car park, both excellent starting points for the tour.
