The route takes us along an easy pathway marked n° 2 past the alpine hut ‘Sarner Sckihütte’ (open all the year) as far as the meadows of the Auener Alm (open in the summer) and on to the pass Auenjoch (1924 m), from where the view extends as far as the Ortler and the Dolomites. From this point the ‘Stoanernen Mandlen’ (2003 m) on the ‘Grosser Reisch’ are reached along the trail marked n° 23 and 23C.
