Golf Club Pustertal

In the heart of the Val Pusteria, in the sports area of Riscone and just a few minutes from Brunico, lies the Golfclub Pustertal, an elegant 9-hole golf course in South Tyrol surrounded by unspoiled nature. Thanks to its balanced layout, the course is ideal for those approaching golf for the first time, while at the same time offering engaging technical challenges for experienced golfers. Located at an altitude of around 900 metres, the course extends over 2,800 metres with Par 34 and is generally open from April to the end of October.

The golf course: open country between forests and reeds

The golf course layout unfolds over open, gently undulating terrain, a rare feature for mountain courses. Part of the course runs through woodland, while other sections wind through scenic reed beds, creating a varied and immersive playing experience. Wide fairways allow for smooth play and the use of the driver, while well-protected greens demand precision and a strategic approach. This balance makes the Golfclub Pustertal accessible for less experienced players and challenging for golfers with a lower handicap.

Practice area and training facilities

Next to the course is a fully equipped golf practice area, ideal both for training and for beginners discovering the sport. The driving range, with partially covered bays, is complemented by areas dedicated to the short game, including a chipping green, putting green, practice bunker and a spacious pitching area. These facilities offer ideal conditions to improve technique, from the first swings to achieving the golf licence (green card).

Golf school from April to November

From April to November, the Golfclub Pustertal golf school offers individual and group golf lessons for beginners as well as players with an existing handicap. Lessons are taught by qualified professionals and tailored to each participant’s level and personal goals.

Clubhouse, restaurant and services

The Golfclub Pustertal clubhouse is welcoming and functional. Inside, guests will find the GOLF Bar Restaurant with terrace, a well-stocked pro shop offering golf equipment and accessories, as well as spacious changing rooms with showers for members and guests.

History of Golfclub Pustertal

The history of the Golfclub Pustertal dates back to 1994, when an initial 4-hole Par 3 course was built at the valley station of the Riscone cable car. In the following years, the facility was expanded with a 6-hole course in the Harrasser-Hof area. In 2004, construction began on the first 9 holes of the “Kronplatz” course, which was officially inaugurated in 2005 under its current name, at the foot of Plan de Corones.

Location and how to get there

The Golfclub Pustertal is located in the Riscone sports area and is easily accessible from the Brenner Motorway. After exiting at Val Pusteria, continue towards Brunico and then follow signs to Riscone, just a few kilometres away.
