At 2,600 meters above sea level, at the foot of one of the most spectacular glaciers in the Alpine range, a truly unique event returns this winter: Paradice Music.
The heart of the festival is the Paradice Dome, a real theater carved entirely out of ice, with around 200 seats. An ephemeral and astonishing venue, where music and art merge into an experience unlike any other.
Here, even the instruments are shaped from ice: guitars, basses, violins, violas, cellos, a drum kit, and even a didgeridoo, sculpted with precision and creativity. They are not merely instruments, but living sculptures that capture the light and spread a pure, crystal-clear sound.
They are created by Lino Mosconi, Giorgio Tomaselli, and Matteo Aielli, three craftsmen and artists who grew up between Ponte di Legno and Vermiglio, deeply connected to the mountains and masters in the art of ice carving. Each work reflects their passion and intimate relationship with this fragile yet powerful material.
These extraordinary instruments come to life every week from January to April, offering unforgettable concerts.
Paradice Orchestra
The Paradice Orchestra presents a broad and diverse repertoire: tributes to great artists of the past and present, explorations of opera and classical music, and original arrangements.
The ensemble is the result of a collaboration between Los Locos Armando’s, a historic local rock band, pianist Massimo Faes, and the Frosty Trio, an unconventional all-female string trio.
For this edition, the Orchestra is further enriched by special guest performers.
Paradice Band
The Paradice Band brings themed evenings to the stage, dedicated to major musical genres: from Italian and English music to grunge, surf, reggae, pop, and much more.
