From September 4 to 6, the charming village of Avio, near Rovereto in Trentino, Italy, hosts the traditional Avio Grape Festival, a popular event celebrating the grape harvest, local wines and regional food traditions.
Throughout the festival, visitors can explore food stalls, discover authentic local products, enjoy wine tastings, and experience performances by talented street artists accompanied by lively live music in the historic town center.
The iconic FAI Castle of Avio, together with the village's historic buildings and surrounding vineyards, provides a unique setting for the event. Visitors can also join guided tours by reservation to learn more about the area's history, culture and winemaking heritage.
The festival concludes with the exciting National Barrel Race of the Città del Vino and the spectacular "Incanto" fireworks show, bringing three unforgettable days of celebration to a memorable close.
