The short via ferrata at Col Rodella runs near the Sella Pass, which connects the Val di Fassa with the Val Gardena.
The via ferrata has a short approach and a short return, making it a good option on days when the weather is uncertain.
The route winds almost vertically along the south face of Col Rodella through slabs, cracks and chimneys that require a fair amount of physical effort.
Col Rodella is a privileged panoramic balcony from which to admire the Val di Fassa, from which other mountain groups such as the Sella and Marmolada are also clearly visible.
