Skiing in Val Gardena in the Dolomiti Superski

Val Gardena is one of the best ski destinations in the Dolomites. It offers fabulous ski slopes, state-of-the-art snow parks, off-piste trips for mountaineering skiers, ski huts and après ski, ski schools and mountain guides. Val Gardena, together with the nearby Alpe di Siusi, is part of the Dolomiti Superski area (1,200 km of slopes, 12 ski areas and 1 single ski pass). Both tourist destinations form part of the Sellaronda ski tour, with 175 km of snow-covered slopes and 81 ski lifts.

Val Gardena is also famous for the great events that take place there in its numerous ski resorts. The most eagerly awaited event is the FIS Men's Ski World Cup on the Saslong track, which reached its 50th edition in 2017. During the winter season there are also food and wine events, snowshoeing, ski mountaineering competitions, torchlight walks, and many more.
