Destinations: Monte Cavallo ski area

Monte Cavallo ski area in the Ortler Skiarena

The Monte Cavallo ski area is part of the Ortler Skiarena ski area: it can be reached by the lifts from the pedestrian zone of Vipiteno and offers ski slopes of all levels, as well as the longest toboggan run in Italy (9.6 km), where amusement continues even at night. The ski area offers 20 km of slopes. In 2018 some new features were introduced, such as the modern 6-seater chairlift and the new downhill run to the valley that leads almost all the way to the centre of Vipiteno.
