Lake Santa Colomba is a small Alpine lake located on the slopes of Mount Calisio and to reach it, it is necessary to go towards Civezzano. Once called Lake Santo, it lies in the heart of a clearing surrounded by a luxuriant wood, among which easy walks wind. The lake is of special geological interest for its dislocation on a fault separating lava rocks, namely quartz porphyries, from sedimentary rocks, that is to say the calcareous rocks of the Calisio area. In its waters several amphibians live, among which there are some species of frogs, which can be often observed among the bed of reeds. It maximum deep doesn't reach 9 metres.
