In Renon, on the plateau bearing the same name and overlooking Bolzano, Christmas is something special. Here, every weekend from November 24 to December 30 2023, take place in fact two Christmas Markets, one in the center of Collalbo and the other in the train station of Soprabolzano. Not the traditional stands, but original cars of the old train of Renon, embellished by the warm Christmas lights. Sweet musics and fragrances come out from the cars, which hide traditional handicrafts and delicacies. On Sunday carriage rides from train station to the Christmas train of Collabo.
News of this year are the Christmas workshops: a must-see opportunity to admire the various artists who transform their ideas into small works of art.
You can reach the markets taking the uphill facility of Renon, which has its lower station in the center of Bolzano, or the mini train going to Soprabolzano sul Renon.
