Holidays in Rabbi: thermal waters and sport holidays

Located in a side valley of Val di Sole, the municipality of Rabbi has many administrative divisions, among which the most important is the spa resort Rabbi Fonti. Here the natural beauties of the Stelvio National Park attract many trekkers, and the village features interesting buildings, sacred sites, museums, historical events and food and wine events

The valley of Rabbi is one of the most charming of Trentino, the perfect destination if you are looking for wellness, relaxation and even health treatments, mainly thanks to the thermal waters discovered around the half of the 17 century and very appreciated by the noblemen of the Habsburg Empire. These waters, described as a "natural elixir", are used for its beneficial effects to cure rheumatic diseases, blood circulation problems, anemia and respiratory tract diseases.

You can relax not only at the spa, but also in the natural environment, exploring the natural beauties of the Stilfser Joch National Park, featuring many attractions such as the waterfalls of the Val di Saènt valley, the trail "Scalata dei larici monumentali" (Climb of the old larch), the lush meadows and forests, and of course chamois, deer, foxes, eagles and other animals.

In this vast natural environment you can practice trekking, Nordic walking and mountain biking exploring the typical farmhouses, or sport fishing, canoeing and rafting in the Rabbiés stream. In autumn and winter you can go for some ski mountaineering or snowshoeing along the local routes, ice climbing on the Valorz falls, usually open from December to March, downhill skiing, snowboarding and freeride

From a cultural point of view there are many attractions, like the Church of San Bernardo, with a fresco by Carlo Bonacina representing the saint, and the stations of the Way of the Cross dated 1755, by Matthias Lampe. The Molino Ruatti Museum, dating back to the end of the 8 century, is located in an ancient water mill and contains tools and memories of the cultural identity of these places.

Interesting events: food and wine tour among the traditional farmhouses with tasting of local products, taking place in July; the valley of nativity scenes during Christmas time, a charming tour to admire the nativity scenes set along an old path; and of course the many feasts and celebrations taking place during the year.
