The strength lies in the roots: ginseng at the Gardens of Sissi

26 April 2012

Discover the properties, secrets and strength of roots growing in the "wonderful invisible world": this is the goal of the temporary exhibition Root, Bulb & Co, opened in April at the Gardens of Sissi. Open until half November, the exhibition includes meetings, conferences and workshops with specialists who will lead visitors to the exploration of the characteristics of these medicinal plants.

Saturday, April 28, from 4 pm, the Gardens of Sissi will host the first of these events: ginseng expert and FloraFarm manager Gesine Wischmann will give some information on the history, growing techniques, characteristics and healing properties of this Asian root.
