Vie Ferrate Cortina d'Ampezzo

Anello del Sorapiss (Berti equipped path, Minazio equipped path and ferrata Vandelli)

Difficulty: Berti: difficult, long.Minazio: medium, isolated.Vandelli: medium/difficult.
Departure: Passo Tre Croci (1805 m) along the S.S. 48 and Cortina d'Ampezzo (1210 m).
Support points: Rifugio Vandelli, Bivouac Slataper, Bivouac Comici, Capanna Tondi .
Difference in height: 1800 m Duration: about 16 hours (total)  

Notes: This route usually requires 2- day walk, so it would be better to overnight at Slataper Bivouac.  

Route
From Passo Tre Croci run along the path n. 215 as far as you reach Forcella Sora la Cengia del Banco. From here cross the western wall of the Croda Marcora on the scree of the Cengia del Banco; the path now becomes a true ferrata and reaches Forcella del Bivacco Slataper.From the Bivouac enter the Sentiero Minazio to start the descent, and cross the eastern slope of the Sorapiss and then the Ferrata Vandelli which leads to Rifugio Vandelli.
