Through the plateau of the Pale di San Martino

From Rifugio Rosetta (2581 m) go eastwards and take immediately the red signs n. 709 that in about forty minutes leads to Passo Pradidali Basso (2655 m). Here take path n. 708 that crosses on the left a rocky hill. The following saddle, at 2716 m, is called Passo di Fradusta, and from here, as well as from Passo Pradidali Basso, you can reach the Rifugio Pradidali. Some signs lead now to the easy Glacier of Fradusta that can be crossed paying attention to the ice. You reach a ridge from where you can climb to the top of the Fradusta. Go on until you arrive at the edge of the great doline Foch de Sora. After crossing another bowl you reach Passo Canali (2469 m), with a wonderful sight on the southern part of the Pale di San Martino. Taking again the path n. 707 go towards the beautiful tops of the Alberghet and of the Coro; without considering the left branches. After going down along the left side of the valley and crossing a wood you reach in a short time to the neat ancient Rifugio Treviso in Val Canali.
