This skitour goes along the slopes where the 1970 World Championship took place.
You can start in Ortisei, Santa Cristina or Selva Val Gardena to reach Seceda, where you will warm up on the slalom ski run or on the "Gardenissima".
From Santa Cristina, taking two chair lifts and a fast ski lift, you reach Mt. Seura.
Skiing on the black slope you get to the Sasslong cableway that ends at Ciampinoi. Here you find an exciting ski carousel that goes through Plan de Gralba and Passo Sella, going back to Ciampinoi. Here you can try the ski run used for the Giant during the Championship. Afterwards you can enjoy the slope Dantercepies: you get there taking the chair lift at Costabella and then a cableway.
After that you reach Selva following the "Cir" slope, where the women's downhill race takes place. Then take the cableway to Ciampinoi and try the fabulous "Sasslong" slope, where the Swiss champion Bernhard Russi won in 1970.
At sunset, when the sun goes down behind Col Raiser, you take the chair lift to Seceda, to enjoy the last 9-km-long downhill through the woods to Ortisei.
