Summer has finally arrived in the Dolomites! On 19 June the ski lifts in Trentino-Alto Adige and Belluno reopened, a date which also saw the reopening of most of the mountain huts. Some had already opened on 12 June, others are waiting until 26 June.
There are many initiatives in the Dolomites for a summer of hiking, trekking, cycling and wellness. Here are some of them divided by area.

A summer dedicated to nature, immersed in the tranquillity of Viote on Monte Bondone, with activities at the Alpine Botanical Garden and the Terrace of Stars. Albe in malga: an experience at the first light of day on the Trentino mountain pastures to fully experience and learn about the life of the herdsmen: from taking the herds to pasture to milking, through to the production of butter and cheese and ending with a delicious breakfast.
I Suoni delle Dolomiti (Sounds of the Dolomites): musical event at high altitude from July to September.
An unmissable destination for forest bathing. In a vast beech wood of about 36 hectares, the first park-path in Italy dedicated to this practice has been created, equipped for real Forest Therapy.
Observe the stars in Europe's only Astrovillage. Inside you can visit the Max Valier Astronomical Observatory with the Cassengrai telescope, the dome with the Peter Anich Solar Observatory and the Planetary Path.
